For me has been a unique experience building in a shipyard the
iron sculpture for the Monument to the Resistenza of Pesaro.
The work had to be installed within a space designed by the
architects Fausto Battimelli, Paul Espagne, Carlo Biscaccianti.
In designing the Monument to the Fallen Soldiers of Bovino (Foggia),
I followed the same ideas which helped me to realize the Monument
in Pesaro.
In both cases I thought about a space that instead of being
filled with the usual rethorical sculptural elements, was felt
by the people both as a commemorative area as well as a place
to spend their free time.
