| My interest in using sculpture in urban
contexts, adopting a new approach with respect to the past,
goes back to the 1960s. The first works were the Monument to
the Resistance in Pesaro and the Memorial to the Soldiers Who
Died in Battle in Bovino. The modular system is ideal for producing
elements in series that can be assembled, and because the way
in which they are assembled is flexible, they are suitable for
resolving urban spaces. |
